Terms of use

Using the preview

Sound Flipper is a free utility owned and operated by Singularity Shift Ltd and Spielcrypto LLC. Singularity Shift Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16311259; Spielcrypto LLC is based in Astana, Kazakhstan, BIN 240940001772. The preview is offered for trying supported audio workflows and providing feedback. No account or payment is required. Features, compatibility and the interface may change as issues are found.

Your recordings and responsibility

You retain your rights in the audio you process. Make sure you have permission to copy, edit and share it, including any rights relevant to recorded people or copyrighted material. Local conversion does not grant permission to distribute a recording.

Keep an original backup and check important downloads before relying on them. Audio formats and receiving applications vary. The app's refusal ceilings do not guarantee that your device has enough memory, storage or battery for the largest allowed file. Do not use this preview as your only archive.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to describe the tested behavior accurately and to fix reproducible problems. Automated tests are not a promise of universal compatibility, uninterrupted service or inaudible differences in every lossy conversion. Review the supported subset and quality explanation.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us if a problem with the service affects you; the preview status is not a reason to ignore a legitimate concern.

Open-source software

The audio engine includes FFmpeg libraries licensed under LGPL 2.1 or later and other components under their respective licences. Their terms remain applicable. Read the third-party notices and obtain the corresponding source and rebuild materials.

These terms do not restrict reverse engineering for debugging modifications to the LGPL-covered libraries or override rights granted by their licences.
