Optional services require your choice

Google Analytics is optional and remains off until you allow it in Cookie settings. It uses cookies and visit information to help us understand how the site is used. Advertising is a separate choice and is unavailable until site approval and the required consent setup are complete. Conversion works without either optional service.

Remembering your choice

When you save a privacy preference, the app stores it in browser local storage under its Sound Flipper namespace. The preference is valid for up to 180 days, after which a fresh choice is needed. Optional categories default to off; older preferences do not automatically grant advertising permission.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to review or withdraw a choice. If storing or validating that choice fails, the app keeps optional services off and reports the problem. You can remove saved preferences through your browser's site-data controls.

Audio storage and presets are different

Temporary audio may be stored in the browser's origin-private filesystem during conversion and verification. It is cleared through the job/session cleanup flow; a crash can leave data behind until later cleanup or site-data removal. Presets use local storage and remain until removed or site data is cleared. Neither is a server-side audio library.

Files you explicitly download are ordinary files in the location you choose. Clearing browser site data does not delete those downloads. See the privacy notice and the data-flow guide.

Google services and your choices

If you allow Analytics, the site sends Google the page title and page address without its query or fragment, along with basic visit and browser information. Our configured analytics events exclude your audio, filenames, tags and support messages. Google may use analytics cookies; see Google’s privacy policy. Withdraw your choice any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

Advertising requires a separate choice, site approval and an appropriate Google-certified consent platform. Privacy and cookie notices remain advertising-free.
